On Tuesday, Mar. 19, construction began on the new multi-sport stadium that will be constructed at William Woods University. This stadium will be the home of the university's first college football team in its 154-year journey. As mentioned, the women's flag football team and the men's and women's soccer teams to represent the Owls will be housed within the stadium. The university officials stated that the new stadium will be finished by June. Sept. 14 will begin the men's football season, which opens in the autumn.
