Roth Architecture's EK Car

The EK car was developed to address the planet's current needs and reduce the issue of transportation that relies on fossil fuels. As mentioned, Roth Architecture's dedication to an environmentally conscious design is reflected in the car's design. The Azulik brand under Roth Architecture, which encompasses a resort, an art museum, restaurants, and the studio's 'insect-wing' office, was responsible for the development of the EK automobile. It is located on a property along the shore of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico.

The Mayan-named EK, which means 'star' is roughly four meters long, two meters wide, and two meters high. It can carry three passengers and has a top speed of up to 36 kilometers per hour, or 22 miles per hour. Moreover, regarding interior design, Roth's Architecture refers to this area as the 'forest plate' since it reflects artificial and natural features. Comparably, the 'cloud eye' idea aims to link the natural-inspired inner and outer shells.

With its ability to handle twisting roads, the EK automobile is ideally suited for usage in Azulik's planned residential developments. These developments will have exquisite villas with 84 apartment structures that are organized into four towers. As a result, addressing the problems that are plaguing Tulum's roadways and further enhancing mobility with the assistance of the proposed EK car will reduce the amount of noise pollution and produce an atmosphere that is comfortable and calm. Azulik and its many structures are complemented by the design of the electric vehicle, which features natural physical forms and sleek curves that provide a design aesthetic that is harmonious and integrated.
